Orlando>Attractions>Theme Parks> Busch Gardens Busch Gardens Tampa BayBusch Gardens Tampa Bay is an attraction that caters to a variety of tastes and age groups. It combines thrilling roller coasters, animal encounters and live shows. Fascinating journey through African continent - this is the theme of the park. MoroccoEntering the park, visitors find themselves in Morocco. At Moroccan Palace Theater there is an ice-skating show "World Rhythms on Ice", presenting dances of seven continents, from African tribal rituals to Chinese ribbon dancers. Another popular song-and-dance show, "American Jukebox", is on at Marrakesh Theater. Visitors can also see alligators, turtles, other reptiles and various species of birds in their natural habitats throughout the Moroccan landscape. NairobiGuests enter Nairobi through the Myombe Reserve, home to some of the land's most exotic primates. This walk-through tour takes guests through the Great Ape Domain, which features chimpanzees, gorillas and baboons. At Nairobi Animal Nursery guests can see baby birds, monkeys, reptiles and mammals. Congo
Kumba is the largest and fastest roller coaster in the Southeast United States. It rolls, swirls and dips over almost 4,000 feet of track, taking guests more than 140 feet in the air and dropping them 135 feet. Another attraction of Congo, Python, is a 1,200-foot "double out and back" coaster, which means it travels through its course once, and doubles back along the same course -- not once, but twice. EgyptIn Egypt visitors can travel back in time to the mysteries of King Tut's Tomb. This interactive exhibition is made as a replication of King Tut's burial site as it was being excavated in the 1920's. Montu, named for ancient Egyptian god of war and sports, is one of the tallest and longest inverted roller coasters in the world. The coaster's 3,900-foot length of track holds such surprises as a 104-foot vertical loop and a 128-foot drop that goes through an underground cavern. Bird GardensBird Gardens and Lory Landing present more than 500 tropical birds from around the globe. Guests can enjoy the World of Birds live show, featuring eagles, owls, ocelots, hawks and falcons. Lory Landing is a net-enclosed habitat with parrots, lorikeets, hornbills and pheasants. TimbuktuThis replica of African ancient city lies in the heart of Busch Gardens. Here visitors can find such attractions as Phoenix, Scorpion (one of the oldest and most beloved coasters), and, besides, Dolphin Theater that presents "Dolphins of the Deep," a show featuring seafaring mammals. StanleyvilleExperience Tanganyika Tidal Wave -this jungle journey aboard a 20-passenger boat ends with a sudden plunge down a 55-foot drop, creating a tidal wave that gets everyone sopping wet.
