    Recreation

    Orlando Hotels: The Villas of Grand Cypress

    The resort includes 45 holes of Jack Nicklaus-designed golf—including the New Course, 18 holes inspired by the Old Course at St. Andrews; and three nine-hole courses, the North, South, and East. Use of the resort's golf driving range is complimentary, as is play on a nine-hole pitch 'n' putt course.

    The resort provides complimentary adults' and children's bicycles for use on extensive paths throughout the property. The Racquet Club offers 12 championship tennis courts (five lighted) and racquetball/squash courts—all complimentary.

    Guests enjoy complimentary use of canoes, kayaks, Hydrobikes, Aquacycles, paddleboats, and small sailboats on the 21-acre Lake Windsong. The lake's beach contains a volleyball court, and a fitness trail with exercise stations circles the lake. Fishing is available on Lake Windsong and small lakes within the grounds. (Guests must bring their own equipment.)

    The world-class Equestrian Center includes a 44-stall barn, jumping and dressage rings, professional instruction, a gift/tack shop, and a lighted, covered arena. For a fee, guides lead trail rides through a 45-acre nature preserve, and there are boardwalk nature paths in the preserve, also.
